Kira (age 3): No I'm not. I'm a human!

Nancy to Eric: Kira loved her party.

Kira (age 3) overhearing: No I didn't!

Nancy to Kira: But you said--

Kira interrupting: --I didn't say I loved it. I said I liked it.

Where

After a couple days in a famous and beautiful national park in the Sierra Nevadas, Kira (age 3) shared: "I like it here in Yo Somebody!".

Marriage

3 year old Kira: "Where is God's wife?"

Adult: "I don't think God has a wife."

Kira: "Oh, he's just lonely by himself?"

Size

Out of the blue and with no conversational context, Kira asked, "Dad, do you have a big chat?"

Extremely puzzled, and after making sure I understood exactly what words she was pronouncing, I finally realized that she must be asking this because I do indeed occasionally "have a little chat".

Kira: Mommy, may I [...standard request deleted...]?
Nancy: Maybe later.
[thoughtful pause by a 3 year old]
Kira: "Maybe later" means "No", right?
