Opinions: Montana Prime Steak House

Montana Prime Steak House

Formerly O Paka Paka Cafe, and still run by the same great people with the same great cooking, the Montana Prime Steak House stays busy. The fine food is served with simple elegance and is of the highest quality. The decor is uniquely Californian and not like any other "Steak House" you'll find (especially in Montana).

I recommend: Any of the steak or fish selections.

Tell April, Ada, and Winnie that "Nicholas and Kira's Father" sent you.

Cuisine: Steak, American

Entree: $12-25

On Duarte Rd. just West of Baldwin Ave.
Arcadia, CA

I just wanted to say after trying out this restaurant for a few times this past 2 months, I can finally say that I am extremely disappointed with Montana Steak House. I can agree the food is good however after repeatedly getting questionable service, I cannot see why I need to spend a pleasant time at a restuarant only to leave mad.

There were a number of instances of bad service and I do not want to list them all. I will just state the final time I came here to eat, my girlfriend and I were given the most horrible service I have witnessed in a long time. Usually I am more than patient with people which is why I came here a 6th time in the past 2 months.

Planning on having a nice lunch with my girlfriend, right off the bat we are left waiting at our table for a long time before someone came to take our order. Asking for a glass of water took the entire meal to get. After the 4th and final time when the check had arrived, that was when my girlfriend was finally able to get her water. Also apart from taking our orders, we were ignored for the entirety of the meal. There were a few other things that happened during this lunch but I dont want to make this comment any longer.

I can just conclude that if you are planning on having a nice and pleasant time, this restaurant will not be for you.
